Our traditional and moral values are shattered somewhere in the midst of this globalization. It can be seen in those hypocrite books which now only Holds the base of Hind.
For this era, Sanskrit has become language to merely pass on, respecting elders is just limited to their own family, rituals are followed just because it is mandatory, helping someone is just a part of a Facebook share, feminism can be seen only on WhatsApp messages, nationalism can be seen only in cricket matches or in their one day profile pictures.
One may get 100K likes for sharing the image of an elderly or disabled person, however they are the same person who may not even get a seat in crowded bus. Thousands will support the protest against child labour, still many can be seen asking for a tea from that chottu or seeking for a child maid.
There are lots of people to support feminism, banning child workers, and for many others purposes, our culture has all this written in hypocrite books but how many tend to follow it.. we just need to implement it. It’s not about being fanatic to your religion, it's about knowing who we are. It's not about vandalism, it's about encouraging that urge for nation to safe guard our treasure by being it’s guardian.
The seeds of this though were sown in mine mind, while commuting to my work place in local transport, observed few things that has led to huge heart break of mine. People are seen occupying seats for their children who can be adjusted on their laps, but no; they will secure a single seat for them as well. Despite knowing the fact that there are lot many people who actually are in need of a seat. However by being ignored with such rude behaviour they forced to travel by standing only.
With Our vast culture since decades and motto of “unity in diversity”, it's been proved that moral values that India has, cannot be shaken by any of the supernatural powers, despite that fact its lost in people's need and greed.
During our school days we pledged, it's not about sheathing all that written loudly, it’s about trying to implement it is our daily routine too, that would definitely give immense pleasure to our soul and someday somewhere you will see it in the form of result. Your parents at home will also grow old someday & somewhere they will be in need too. It hardly takes anything for respecting and helping people in need. Let's see who will come up to save our National treasure that ample of other countries are lacking in. To let those People know it's not about sharing your seat, it's all about the respect one hold for their elders.
P.S.: it is my personal opinion, and not to insult or not to preach any person. I might be wrong somewhere, being a common man like you all, the only way to show this injustice is to pen it down and I did the same.
